Koze Global Limited (also referred to as “KG” and trades under the name “Koze
Global”), in compliance with the Data Protection Law (“DPL”) and the Data
Protection Regulation (“DPR”) of Vanuatu, is committed to protecting and
safeguarding the privacy, confidentiality, and security of all individuals'
personal information.
This includes not only its clients but also employees, suppliers, and any other individuals with whom it conducts business. It is also the responsibility of all Koze Global employees to comply with the requirements of the DPL and the DPR. Below outlines the information we are required to obtain and how such information is processed and stored.
- Koze Global will request your email address, which will be used to send all necessary notifications provided on our website to ensure compliance with any laws, guidelines, or requests issued by the authorities.
- Failure to provide such data to Koze Global may result in being unable to open an account or receive notification services or to comply with any laws or guidelines issued by the authorities.
- Personal information collected and/or held includes information that you provide to us during the account opening process, such as your personal details, contact information, and communication records (i.e., inquiries and our responses).
- Personal information collected by Koze Global (whether provided by you or any other person on your behalf) may be used by Koze Global for providing notification services to you.
- All personal data collected by Koze Global relating to you will be kept confidential. However, Koze Global may provide such information (whether provided by you or any other person on your behalf) to the following parties, within or outside of Vanuatu, for the purposes set out in the DPL:
- Any director, officer, or employee of Koze Global or its affiliates, only when carrying out their respective business activities;
- Any professional advisor, insurer, or auditor of Koze Global or its affiliates;
- Any third party with which you have or propose to have dealings;
- Any person to whom Koze Global transfers, assigns, or proposes to transfer or assign its interests and/or obligations in respect of the account or any services provided to you;
- Any person to whom Koze Global is required by law, regulation, court order, or request from any governmental or regulatory body to provide such data.
- Cookies are small bits of information that are stored on your computer and can be accessed by our website. Koze Global may use cookies to record your visit to our website for analyzing the number of visitors, general usage patterns, and your personal usage patterns, and to improve your experience. Furthermore, Koze Global may set and access cookies on your computer to recognize your device and retrieve information about your use of our website, enabling us to provide more useful features to you, tailor the content of our website to suit your interests, and, where permitted, provide you with promotional materials or direct marketing based on your usage patterns. - As clients of Koze Global, you have the right in accordance with the DPL to:
- Check or inquire whether Koze Global holds personal data about you;
- Request access to any such personal data held by Koze Global within a reasonable time, in a reasonable manner, and in an intelligible form;
- Request the correction of your personal data that is inaccurate; and
- Ascertain Koze Global’s policies and practices in relation to data and be informed of the kind of personal data held by Koze Global.
- Nothing in this notice shall limit the rights of the client under the DPL.
UPDATE
This Privacy Notice was updated in March 2020. We reserve the right to amend
this Privacy Notice from time to time to reflect changing legal requirements or
our processing practices. Any such changes will be posted on this website and
will be effective upon posting.
